An Approach for the Reduction of Unwanted Edges in Contour Detection Based on Local Filtering

In this paper, an approach for the reduction of unwanted edges in contour detection based on local filtering is presented. Our can be used as a preprocessing step before detection. Also our useful object recognition feature extraction tasks, because many methods can’t delete all carefully. method consists computational algorithm that has 7 steps. Including smoothing, edge detection, decreasing pixels, thresholding, filtering, and mask creation respectively. We use smoothing adhering neighbor pixels weakening alone pixels. So we amplify correct attenuate by image. proposed casual template determines noisy regions therefore create matrix its elements related to mentioned regions. Finally "mask matrix" improving contours using “And” operator ensure final few context effect.
